I paint abstraction, energy, and elements of nature.

Favorite mediums acrylic and watercolor, while I also love charcoal and oil pastel. I've painted in Greece and Turkey on a college art abroad, enchanted by the ruins and temples, as well as throughout Central and South America while living in Uruguay.

Figurative Painting,
a final self-portrait project in college.
Exploring light, shadow, hue, and the beautiful balance between intuitive spontaneity in art and conscious creative decision-making. Discovering how to express color contrasts, thoughtfully organizing the color palette, and applying layers of paint in stages.

After dividing the original photograph into gridded squares, I painted each one individually like separate pieces of art. Blending and retaining some edges. Amplified light and color contrast.

i love live painting and setting up shop to vend at events.
some live painting highlights were at Mississippi Underground's Nocturnal Equinox, and to live music at a private event for an experiential podcast.

i also love vending paintings at events and creating a beautiful space with candles, crystals, and sage.

it's fun to watch paintings unfold and take shape using the energy, vibrancy, and vivacity of events. i also love connecting with community, inputting feedback as each painting evolves, and being in a synergistic flow.
