interaction design

I hold an MFA in Interaction Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.

For my thesis, I designed and built a bluetooth necklace featuring binaural soundwaves, vibration, and texture to help manage panic attacks and anxiety. Learning from working professionals in their field inspired me to solve problems in pragmatic ways, and living in the big apple was a mind-opening backdrop for a plethora of inventive ideas.

Other project highlights were connecting a hoberman sphere “Bloom” to motor sensors that optimized breathing patterns, an interactive waiting room table “Mesa” or tactile interface for hospital patients, and an experimental gallery “Umbrella-X” that operates on exchanging art of experiential value.
